Paw & Sip Co. – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Paw & Sip Co. tours and experiences. By purchasing a ticket or participating in a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Paw & Sip Co. is based in Queensland, Australia and operates tours throughout Australia.
Eligibility & Acceptance of Terms
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
You must be over 18 years of age to purchase a ticket.
By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Minimum Numbers Required
Paw & Sip Co. tours require a minimum of eight (8) ticket holders to proceed.
Paw & Sip Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to operate a tour with fewer than the minimum number of ticket holders.
If minimum numbers are not met and Paw & Sip Co. elects not to proceed with the tour, affected ticket holders will be offered either:
a refund; or
a credit to be used toward a future tour.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by Guests:
Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the tour date are eligible for a refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour date are non-refundable.
Tickets may be transferred to another person within 7 days of the tour date, provided Paw & Sip Co. is notified prior to the tour.
No-shows will not receive a refund or credit.
Weather, Force Majeure & Tour Changes
If weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances outside our control mean a tour cannot proceed, Paw & Sip Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer either:
a refund; or
a credit to be used toward a future tour.
Paw & Sip Co. will not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or failure to perform a tour due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
extreme weather conditions;
floods, bushfires, storms, or natural disasters;
government restrictions or directions;
public health emergencies; or
any other event constituting force majeure.
Tour itineraries, venues, and timing may be varied where reasonably necessary for safety or operational reasons.
Animals Permitted
Paw & Sip Co. tours are dog-only experiences.
No other animals are permitted to attend tours under any circumstances.
Dog Eligibility, Behaviour & Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for the dogs they bring on a Paw & Sip Co. tour at all times.
Participants must ensure that the dogs they bring:
are well-behaved and non-aggressive;
are toilet trained;
are dog-friendly and people-friendly;
are comfortable with transport and not knowingly prone to car or motion sickness;
are kept on a lead at all times during the tour; and
wear a suitable harness while travelling on the bus.
Paw & Sip Co. reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant and the dog they bring if, in our reasonable opinion, behaviour, restraint, or health poses a risk to safety or the safe operation of the tour. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paw & Sip Co. accepts no responsibility or liability for:
the actions or behaviour of participants or the dogs they bring; or
any injury, damage, loss, or harm caused by a dog to people, animals, or property.
Number of Dogs Per Participant
Each ticket permits a maximum of one (1) dog per participant.
If you wish to bring more than one dog per participant, you must contact Paw & Sip Co. directly prior to booking. Approval is at Paw & Sip Co.’s discretion and may be subject to additional conditions and charges.
Animal Bites, Injuries & Insurance
Participants are fully responsible for the dogs they bring and for any interaction between their dog and people, other animals, or property during a Paw & Sip Co. tour.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paw & Sip Co. is not responsible or liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death arising from animal contact or interaction, including but not limited to:
bites, scratches, charges, or other behaviour by dogs;
injury to participants, other guests, or third parties; and
injury to, or death of, any pet or animal attending or encountered during the tour.
Any claims, losses, costs, or liabilities arising from animal contact or interaction are the responsibility of the participant.
Participants are encouraged to check their personal contents or pet insurance policies prior to attending a Paw & Sip Co. tour to determine whether animal-related incidents are covered.
Dog Allergies & Treats
If a dog has known allergies or dietary sensitivities, participants must notify Paw & Sip Co. prior to boarding.
Paw & Sip Co. will take all reasonable steps to ensure that treats provided do not knowingly contain ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction. However, treats are not guaranteed to be allergen-free, and dogs participate at the participant’s own risk.
Food, Drinks & Allergies (Humans)
Any snacks or drinks consumed during a Paw & Sip Co. tour are consumed at the participant’s own risk.
Participants are responsible for checking ingredients and ensuring that food or beverages are safe to consume if they have any known or unknown allergies or dietary restrictions. Paw & Sip Co. accepts no responsibility for allergic reactions or adverse effects.
Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol consumption during Paw & Sip Co. tours is optional and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
Paw & Sip Co.:
is not responsible for the actions, behaviour, injury, or loss of participants while intoxicated;
will not permit alcohol to be given or fed to any animal; and
reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants who are intoxicated, disruptive, or unsafe, without refund.
Alcohol service at third-party venues is subject to venue policies and applicable liquor laws.
Age Restrictions & Identification
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Paw & Sip Co. will not permit persons under 18 to consume alcohol.
Paw & Sip Co. reserves the right to request valid photo identification if age is in doubt. Failure to provide acceptable identification may result in refusal of alcohol service or removal from the tour without refund.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted on Paw & Sip Co. transport, including buses, at any time.
If a participant wishes to smoke during a tour, this may only occur in a Designated Outdoor Smoking Area (DOSA) at attended venues, where available, and in accordance with venue policies and all applicable laws. Paw & Sip Co. does not guarantee access to smoking areas.
Transport & Travel to and from Meeting Points
Participants are solely responsible for their own travel, and the travel of the dogs they bring, to and from designated meeting and drop-off points.
Paw & Sip Co. is not responsible or liable for any incident, injury, loss, damage, or offence occurring before boarding or after disembarking from Paw & Sip Co. transport, including any decision to drive or travel while affected by alcohol or other substances.
Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable road laws.
Paw & Sip Co. is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items left on vehicles or at venues.
Third-Party Venues
Tours include visits to third-party venues. Paw & Sip Co. is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of these venues. Participants must comply with all venue rules and staff instructions.
Right to Cancel or Remove for Safety or Misconduct
Paw & Sip Co. reserves the right to refuse participation, cancel a booking, or remove any participant and/or the dog they bring from a tour, without refund, if in our reasonable opinion:
behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate;
a participant or dog poses a risk to people, animals, property, or the safe operation of the tour; or
a participant fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions, staff instructions, venue rules, or applicable laws.
Photography, Video & Marketing Consent
Paw & Sip Co. may take photographs and videos during tours that may include participants and/or the dogs they bring.
By attending a tour, participants consent to the use of such images and videos for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on Paw & Sip Co.’s website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials.
If a participant does not wish for images or videos of themselves or their dog to be used, they must notify Paw & Sip Co. directly prior to attending the tour. Reasonable efforts will be made to respect this request.
Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge that participation in a Paw & Sip Co. tour involves inherent risks, including but not limited to interaction with animals, transport-related risks, uneven surfaces, outdoor environments, and alcohol consumption.
Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
Indemnity
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paw & Sip Co. from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
participation in a tour;
the actions or behaviour of the dog they bring; or
any breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Conduct & Online Behaviour
Participants agree to behave respectfully during tours and online.
Participants must not post false, misleading, defamatory, or derogatory content about Paw & Sip Co. and agree to represent the business fairly and respectfully.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and apply to tours conducted throughout Australia.
